Well, I met an American Idol. Am I cool now? Truth be told I really HATE American Idol. I know this will upset some people...maybe most people...but its true. I think the show is dumb. I usually make fun of it. So last night I was at the Mariners Game and all of a sudden a bunch of camera men came into the area where we were sitting, followed by this short dude wearing a Mariners Jersey. He had a huge entourage with body guards and everything. It was the real deal. Well I started to get excited because I knew all of my American Idol fan friends would be jealous that I got to meet one of them, so I decided I should get a picture of him. We took a few of me with him in the background, and then we got one with him. I didn't want him to know I was kinda laughing at him inside, so when I got my picture with him I told him what a huge fan I was! It just came out. He was really happy about that and told me he loved his fans and that I was great. I started giggling because the whole thing was so funny to me, and I think he thought I was flirting with him. Oh my! Apparently he went to Greg's high school. Who knew? If you are an American Idol watcher, look for the segment of him at the Mariners Game because I am probably in the background! I'm almost famous!! Too funny.
On another note, we had fun at the game, and Carson loved showing his team pride...Well Kinda. He was actually asleep most of the time again. I guess that's what happens when your only 7 weeks old!

That is hilarious! Too bad I don't even have a clue as to who that is (besides the fact that you said he was on american idol). I will have to watch for him now.
Hi Erin ... so we are American Idol fans and Blake just happens to be our favorite. Did he mention he has Utah ties? His family is actually from Cache Valley and we know some of his cousins. What a small world!! We love checking your blog and seeing your cute little guy and all the fun things your up to. We'll be watching for you this week on American Idol.

I watched American Idol last night to see if you and Carson made it on as a part of the "home town visit", but no such luck... maybe they'll show you tonight!
