LAKE PAL!!!!!!!!

Lake Powell was AWESOME!! The weather was super hot, at least 110 every day, so we spent LOTS of time in the water. Carson did great. I was so nervous that he would be fussy the whole time because of the Hot air, but he was on his usual great behavior. Here are some of our adventures...

Carson loved hanging out with his dad. These are a few of the cute pictures I took of them.

LIFE JACKET BOY!!!

We put Carson in a life jacket for the first time ever at Lake Powell. We weren't sure how he would react to this thing that basically looked like it strangled him, and practically went down to his knees. Verdict was that he actually liked it. The first time we put it on him, he just sat there wondering what the heck we were doing to him, but he didn't make a peep. Then we put him in the water, and he floated around for awhile until we took him out. He never uttered a sound at all. It was pretty funny. It turns out that baby life jackets are pretty cool. Look at him lounge!

My nieces and Nephews were so much fun to be down there with. Here are a few of the cute shots I took of them.

Zack Attack

We also spent a ton of time on the boat. The water was glass pretty much all day long, so we had to take advantage. Greg showed us all up with his cool tricks. That's one hot daddy-o!

The girls decided that they wanted to run a tattoo parlor, and this is what Greg ended up with. What a lucky guy!

CARSON HITS THE BEACH

We tried out Cars baby sunglasses, He seemed to think they were OK.

THE SLIDE

We spent many hours going down the slide on the back of the houseboat. Check out the form!

THE DREADED WATER SKIING

Well....After much crying, and some high stakes bribing, we finally got the two little girls to try water skiing. They were naturals! Both got up right away, and realized that it was actually fun. They immediately went inside and started making lists of what they would buy with their new found riches! (They also knew they had to keep up with those brave Apples...Good Job Med and Ky!)

Alex and Grandpa getting steady

Look at Alex go!! Yay Alex!

Izzy and Gramps.

CLIFF JUMPING

It just isn't a trip to Lake Powell without some good old fashioned cliff jumping.

This is Carson watching all the fun, and wishing he was big enough to do it. Someday little buddy, Someday!

PIRATES TREASURE

One night the Ruffner kids and Greg went on a short hike. While out, they ran into a real buried treasure map. Left by the infamous Lake Powell Pirates and Captain Catfish Jones. The map led them to an island where they uncovered another map. That map took them to Treasure Island where they found Real Pirate Booty. AAARGH Matey!

BALLOON MAYHEM

On the way back to the slip we ran into some crazy folk. For some reason people kept thinkin' that it was a great idea to drive super close to our houseboat. This was perfect for "The BOYS" (actually all around 30 years old) because it gave them prime water ballooning targets. One fellow was not happy at all with being a water balloon target and pulled up along side of us to cuss us out. He had been hit while doing some unsightly business with his pants down, and was apparently quite unhappy with the interruption. After his complete meltdown the Boys could see that he wasn't going to chill out, so they decided to Pelt him some more. Well played gentleman. After a threat that he would find us, he circled about 10 feet in front of our driving houseboat flipping the bird and was gone. I guess the moral is not to cut so close to a driving houseboat....Or if our windows end up smashed, for us not to throw balloons at raving lunatics. It was all in good fun.

An unnamed culprit in action
