Today was Quincey girls due date. I was counting on those extra nine days, but she had other plans! ha ha. I took the girl to the doctor yesterday and she has already gained 2 oz. The doc seemed happy about that. She told me it normally takes 2 weeks to regain their birth weight. What can I say? She has a VERY healthy appetite. It may even surpass what Carsons was which is hard to believe. She has also grown an inch and half. In a week? Seriously? I never did think baby length measurements were very accurate. Anyway, she is happy and healthy, and besides being a little overwhelmed by the whole thing, we are happy to have her here. I will take 9 days less of pregnancy any day!
Today was also the first day I had both of them alone together all day. Greg went back to work, so I braved it by myself. We stayed home all day. I am not up to the task of going anywhere yet. Car watched a lot of Little Einsteins, and I tried to get into a routine of balancing them both. It is funny how they try to gang up on you though. They have some sort of sense to need things at the exact same time. So you have to decide who to help and who to let cry. Sad. I'm sure I will get the hang of it soon. At least I hope so! :) Carson turns 17 months on Saturday. One more month and he will be in nursery. I asked the nursery leader if he could come a few weeks early since Greg and I both have callings during our third hour. Greg teaches young mens, and I lead the music in Relief Society. She told me no. So somehow I have to figure out what I am going to do with two kids in RS, while also figuring out how to lead. Hmmm. Maybe I will be staying home for a few weeks....

Ouch! You have a mean ward. Beckett is almost 16 months and on a play date one of the nursery leaders said why don't you just bring him in now? (He'd already tried to break into nursery a few times.) I can't believe they won't help out. Talk about letter of the law...
You most certainly have your hands full now girl! I wish that I could see you and your sweet baby but I got the text message announcing the birth while we were loading my sister's things onto our shared moving van for our cross country move. That message really made me happy and took my mind off all the stresses of moving. We need to catch up soon as I've just arrived in Boston!
