Greg, Erin, Car and Quincey

Wow!  I have finally had a small second to breathe today. The last few weeks have been SUCH a whirlwind.  Trying to get our house out of construction before baby comes, painting, caulking, planning baby showers for friends etc.  My lovely in-laws who are apparently the best, have been helping me non-stop the last few days and allowing me a little bit of much needed rest.  Christine has painted Carson's entire room,  and Wayne has taken Carson out to play,  not to mention them bringing their cleaning lady to clean my house yesterday before the baby shower today.  Wonderful!  I seriously could not be more appreciative!  And now that the shower is over,  hopefully we can get Carson moved and the new nursery done.  TWO MORE WEEKS.  Oh boy.

Carson has been funny lately.  He copies EVERYTHING we say.  He has mastered many words.  My favorite is ma-ma.  Though I'm still not sure he knows EXACTLY what it means.  He says shoe, mo (no), two, three (don't know what happened to one), teeth, knee, and lots more,  plus attempting everything out of our mouths.  SO CUTE.

He has also been quite a stinker lately.  Nap time has become WONDERFUL.  He used to embrace his bunny and nookie when it was time to drift to dreamland.  He may protest a little,  but not much,  well as of late, he kicks and screams and tries to throw bunny and nookie on the floor before we walk out the door.  (he knows we always come back to give him those). Its actually really funny how smart they are.  Yesterday I put him down for his nap in a diaper and shirt only.  BIG MISTAKE.  I checked on him a while later on the monitor and I saw that his diaper was dangling.  Somehow he had pulled down the front of his diaper, but managed to leave it attached around the waste.  He was whimpering because he had just peed all over EVERYTHING.  Oops.  No more going to bed in just a diaper.

We seem to have had a lot of bathroom mishaps lately.  Car also decided to poo in the tub for the first time ever about a week ago.  GROSS is all I have to say.

On a cuter note,  Carson loves to play in the cars.  Driving is his very favorite pass time and he could do it for hours!  He always has to have the keys and he knows exactly where to find them.  He always grabs us by the hand and takes us to them and points.  He also knows which keys go to which cars,  and he demands the correct ones.

The best part is when he checks himself out in the rear view mirrors.  He thinks he is hot stuff.  He just sits there and makes faces and laughs and laughs.

Well that was a long post.  Probably very boring to most,  but I have to write all these things down so I remember them.
