The weekend was a good one.
This is what I woke up to Saturday morning. At 10:00 am.
My husband is nice. Thanks for letting me sleep G.
Doesn't this just look like fun? And look, the bumbo is BACK!
We decided to be brave and skip naps and go to the pumpkin patch that afternoon. Little did we know that we were going to the most radical pumpkin patch alive.
They had a HUGE patch, and a corn maze.....
Carson had fun bumbling around all the vines and "kunkines", though unfortunatly he really liked the broken and rotting ones best.
They had a firetruck (you're jealous I know), Pony rides....
They put Car on the teeniest pony I had ever seen. Sooo cute. He LOVED it.
A train. Which was thrilling as you can see...
A petting zoo, and rides, etc, etc. You get the point.
I was a little disheartened after measuring in at a whopping 6'2. So I went home and measured myself. only 5'11 and a half. phew! haha. Either that thing was way off, or my new balances are actually 2.5 in' heels... Anyone need a little height? Greg and I both decided that maybe 5'10 would be perfect. Or maybe just I did. Greg maybe said shorter. Oh well. You can't win 'em all folks... you can't win 'em all.
On to more important things. See that pumpkin ride? Carson loved it so much he was screaming like a girl. It was hilarious. I wish I would have had my video camera. Too cute.
And don't you think Greg makes such a foxy little farm woman. Hot stuff.
The farm was fun. We liked it. It was a very festive weekend. Still on the list? Carving pumpkins.
On a totally different note, welcome to a day with Carson.
He can make a mess quicker than I can pick them up. Yesterday he dumped out that bag of cotton balls at least 4 times. Each time I made him pick them up, and he would just do it all over again.
I got Car some boots the other day. He won't take them off. I thought he was going to insist on wearing them to bed but luckily that hasn't happened yet. The sticker on his forehead is from the top of our Costco wipes. Greg used to stick those to Cars head anytime he had a new pack. This time Carson took the liberty of doing it himself. He had it on for about an hour. I guess he figures that's what your supposed to do.

You do such a great job capturing your family, Erin. I love the first photo of G. with the kiddos.
That looks like so much fun. We miss the west.
What wonderful pictures (as always), and it looks like you had such a fun day!
ashton and avery were looking at your pictures with me and they couldn't stop laughing about carson's sticker on his forehead. they thought it is hilarious that that is what he thinks you are supposed to do...i must admit, it is pretty smart of him.
and, of course, we all love the costume pictures. wish we could be together for Halloween. all of the cousins are going trick-or-treating together in bryon and tracie's neighborhood.
Dan-- I have totally been missing the East! Enjoy the falls there! Someday you wont have them anymore!
