Well we had an awesome Thanksgiving weekend.  Now I will get the post holiday blues.  At least Christmas is just around the corner and there will be LOTS of fun to be had in UTAH!!!!  I'm so excited.

Thanksgiving morning we hung out at home and set up our Christmas tree.  Carson was totally into it.  I mean running around and bouncing off the walls kind of into it.  It was really funny.  He wanted to help, and climb, and look at the "wites".

I heard some whimpering and this is what I saw when I turned around.  I looked at Greg and he just shrugged his shoulders and said,  "Well he wanted to climb..."

Later that day we went over to spend time with Gregs family.

The lighting was horrible but I wanted some pictures of the people I am most thankful for.  And here the buggers are.  All three of 'em.

Chris has this cool little carousel for Car to look at.  He thought it was awesome.  It would sing, and he would "carefully"  touch each animal and try to name it.

And I told you about bunny,  how he has to make him do everything?  Well Wayne caught him teaching bun to tickle the ivories.

But the greatest fun came with the newly acquired Wii.
We all got in on the action...
Need I say more?

The rest of the weekend we spent hanging out and going on a date.  I took Greg to see twilight.  (he was more than willing to see what the hype was about.)  I wasn't a huge fan of the books,  and the movie didn't quite live up to what I had imagined,  although I was prepared for the worst...  But it was fun.   When we walked out, Greg said in all giddy seriousness,  "That was THE BEST movie!!  I haven't seen a movie that good in YEARS.  Every scene was either funny,  or suspenseful, or interesting..."  Uh, are you serious?  :)  It was unexpectedly funny,  I will give him that. (and he did admit to some cheese) Oh Greg,  you gotta love him.  I'm sure I will see the rest of them,  but to me the movie read a little bit of after school special.  But that might just be because I had read the book, and had my own version of how things should be.  ANYWHO...

FOR MY FAMILY

So Carson has been doing some things lately that just make me laugh,  or else really amaze me...

Funny thing #1:  Greg's dad taught him that when he sees a deer or an elk,  that he should take his hand and "shoot" it, and make a pow noise.  The other day we got out the Christmas books and started reading Rudolph to him.  I hear from the other room,  "No Carson,  you don't shoot Rudolph,  he is nice."

Funny thing #2:  The other day I bought two wreaths that are made of bells.  Well needless to say, the little bugger was obsessed.  I heard some scratching on the wall so turned to look. Carson was holding up against the wall.  I said,  "Oh!  are you going to hang that Carson?",  and his response?  "Haamer.."

Funny thing #3:  We have a little blow up bat and ball.  Greg hit the ball and it accidentally smacked Car right in the face.  He was a little stunned so he started to cry.  I said "GREG!",  and Carson looks up between tears and says  "GREG!".

Funny thing #4:  Last night Greg was bringing Carson home from dinner and Carson kept saying, drive? drive?  So Greg grabbed bunny and put him up to the wheel and made him drive.  Carson got so excited and said "fast!".

Funny thing #5:  This morning G was feeding Car breakfast and he was asking Carson if he wanted to go to church.  Carson got really excited and picked up his cereal bowl and said "bring?"  He wanted to go right then.

That's all I can think off.  Little Einsteins must really be rubbing off on him because he keeps coming up with new things that I haven't taught him.  Like he points out music notes and says "note",  and he grabs long metal things and puts them in his mouth and dances around saying "foote" (flute we think).  And last night at the restaurant he called my fancily folded napkin a castle.  Its amazing the things they pick up on and randomly say.  I always wonder where he heard it from.

He is so much fun.  He can pretty much say any word we do.  He loves to have his owies kissed better, and he loves to go on "bear hunts" (like the book) anywhere that it is dark.  Even though he clings to us as tight as he can.  He loves Quin and never refuses to give her a kiss.  He loves church, and with any mention of it, or passing it, he babbles about "bubos", and toys.  This weekend, Grandpa took him to see the tug boat at the mall,  and it is his newest joy... he says tug boat so cute...

I could go on.  but I wont.  I just don't want to forget how he is right now.  I need to start a journal I guess.

Hope y'all had a happy thanksgiving!
