The other day we decided to introduce solids to Quin for the first time. We excitedly smashed up some bananas, sat her in the big high chair, and started spooning away. I think she took about two bites when she decided it wasn't for her....
Well tonight we tried again.
Quin was quite happy at the beginning of the meal, she sat admiring the darling bib that cousin Alex made for her..

Unfortunately the peace didn't last long.
As the first bite came towards her mouth, you could see the uncertainty welling up in her face.

And about a minute later, the waterworks began!

She was so mad, that the only way I could get her to close her mouth and swallow, was to stick her binky in. After about 5 bites I gave up...

Your safe for now dear Quincey girl, but tomorrow we may try again...

oh, these are kind of sad! and kind of funny! sorry, i shouldn't have laughed, but i couldn't help it:) kids. so dramatic:) poor Quin. That shot of her screaming with her tongue out is sooooo sad!!!
Banana's are the bomb. She'll take a liking to them I'm sure.
Btw, I have a chicco high chair too. They're the best!
p.s. maybe she would have liked them more if it was a mutant banana. just sayin:)
So sad. Poor Quin. I love the drama.
