Greg, Erin, Car and Quincey

It was quite a day and I think spring may be on the verge. WAHOO!

So I haven't really given Quin many solids so far. After the banana torture I figured she wasn't quite ready... but today I found the key to her heart. Turns out that she is WAY too advanced for that mushed up baby crap. She wants big girl food.
After having her scream and reach for my mouth every time I took a bite of something today (she is attached to my hip these days...little booger won't let me put her down. EVER.) I finally clued in to the fact that she wanted some. DUH. So I plopped her down and gave her some food. She was giddy. We did this THREE times today. Pure bliss every time. I forgot what it was like to do something without holding Quin.
Just for kicks I tried giving her some mashed banana and yams (not mixed) at dinner. She will put it in her mouth but she doesn't really like to swallow it. She sucks on it, gags a little, and out it comes again... ?

This is Cars new bike. He got it for his birthday. Except not on his birthday. More like a week later. Turns out that moms don't pick good bikes. And dads don't realize it until the night before the big day. Oops. So I returned the one I got, G researched the heck out of tricycles, (haha, such a lawyer) and he finally settled on this one. Only problem was, it wasn't available in the store. Dang it. I was pretty sad, but Car didn't care. It's pretty cute though. Good job Greg.

Carson died when he saw it. He got these huge eyes and just kept saying "WOW! Bike!" over and over again. He just has one rule. No riding if mom has the camera out. I finally had to bribe him tonight with a treat.
