A few days after easter my parents planned for my entire family (siblings, spouses, and kids) to head down to Vegas for a week to hang out. Greg couldn't make it, but there was NO WAY that I was going to pass up a free trip to hang with the fam, and sit in the sun. Only kink was, it sorta wasn't really sunny... I have this thing were when I travel, the rain follows me. Don't like it. One bit.
But alas the rain didn't stop us from having a fabulous time. There is TONS of shopping in vegas (too much if you ask greg, or my bank account...) and we wasted no time checking it all out. The first day, my dad stepped up and took carson for me while my mom and I went to the mall. Little did he know that he would soon regret the decision.

About thirty minutes after we parted ways, Carson starts leaking through his diaper. We weren't quite ready to leave the mall yet, so we checked out a few more things and then headed over to circus circus to meet the clan. Notice how Carson is pants less in the following pictures? Yeah. He was soaking wet. So was my dad, and my brother. Oops... Thanks guys. I owe you one.

Circus Circus was the best. Oh the memories that are in that place. It was weird to be back with one of my own little people. I felt like I was ten again, trying to win all the stuffed animals I could get...

(Not sure who let all the matching asians in, but they were EVERYWHERE. Good thing I like asains.)

My parents were totally cool and decided that they were going to give each of the grandkids some money to spend at the malls. Even Carson and Quincey got some... SCORE! Don't tell my parents but I still have "Quins money" in my purse... hehehe.... just kiddin mom and dad.

But anyway, we went in the disney outlet and Car decided that he wanted a Buzz. It was a lifesaver. The kid didn't put the thing down the rest of the trip.

"Hi Buzzy!" He is saying from the table...

Luckily after the first day the sun decided to show up so we hit the pool. Carson was in heaven.... Quin, not so much.

But as soon as we broke out the cheerios, she was a happy camper.

There was this cool spot in the pool that was a beach with sand. Carson WOULD NOT touch the sand for the life of him. We would try to put him down and the stinker would hold his legs out in front of him stiff as a board.. He would sit on a towel and dig in the sand, but that was a stretch.

After a few days and a little torturing, he finally succumbed to being set down. Though he wouldn't move anything besides his arms. We put a bucket of water next to him, and if any sand were to stick to him, he would immediately wash it off...

His legs and toes stayed in this EXACT position for a good hour or two...

I don't really even know what to say about the picture below...
There is obviously more than one questionable thing going on there, and i will just leave it at that.
I guess it's just the way we roll...

I talked my family into going to In N Out one night and I wasn't sorry. Neither was Carson. Before our food ever came he was terrorizing poor mason for his "hagar." Unfortunately for Mason I was too busy taking pictures to defend him... Sorry buddy. Thanks for being so nice to my boy!

And of course since we love the arcades so much we had to hit the Excalibur before we left. When we got there the cousins were playing this shooting game, and before I could say bobs your uncle (101 Dalmatians anyone....), Car had climbed out of his stroller and made himself at home in front of this gun... nice rooster hair eh?

Car won this truck ALL BY HIMSELF. I couldn't win for the life of me, and on his first throw he got a prize.

Since we were too busy shopping and playing to take naps, we pretty much wore the kiddos out. oh but It was SOOO worth it.

Funny moment of the trip: I had Car and Quin in the same room trying to take a nap. Quin would NOT stop crying. After about five minutes I hear Carson yell "STOP CRYING QUINNEY!!!!" She didn't listen though. I had to intervene.

Thanks again mom and dad!! Love you.

p.s. Sorry my posts are so lame. By the time I get all the dang pictures uploaded, I'm too burnt out to think of anything good to say...

I love the Cheerios picture. I think Car is so funny how he doesn't like the sand. It looks like you had so much fun with your family!
