Our weekend was full of wedding receptions. And sadly, my camera lens broke. So sad. I didn't realize how dependent I am on my camera. Luckily I have another lens I can pull out.

Gregs cousin had his reception at this darling old school house. There were all these old couches and chairs. Very cute place...

On saturday night we went to another reception for an old friend of Gregs. It was at their house and they had these amazing steps with beautiful wild flowers and moss growing between all of the blocks. They were beautiful. I'm pretty sure most people there thought I was crazy for bending over in my dress to take this picture on the pretty steps... :)

On Sunday we took a drive out into the country. We went on a little walk into this cute little field.

Carson had a blast blowing the dandelions. He kept saying "I puff, and I puff, and I puff, and I puff, and I puff..." You get the picture. He kept blowing tons of spit out, instead of air.

But he did finally get the hang of it...

Greg took these pictures for me.. How sweet is my little girl.

Walk woody.

Carson got this "big one woody" one saturday. He hasn't put it down yet. He has taught him how to walk, how to ride his bike, etc, etc... I think it was a good purchase.

On Monday we hit the beach. Along with every other person from Seattle. It was SO crowded. It was a tiny bit chilly but still fun. We had a picnic with the four of us, and then hung out and threw rocks.

"stick en up!" Sword fighting was also a must.

There was a grassy field full of these little posies. Too bad the light was so terrible. Quin kept eating them. Along with all the other flowers and grass she came in contact with this weekend. Oops. The girl loves her greens. Carson hated sitting in the grass at this age, but it makes Quincey a very happy girl. Hooray!

1. Sad about your lens. Very sad.
2. These are maybe my favorite photos ever that you've taken. Seriously. It makes me want to crawl into my bed, pull the covers over my head, & never take another photo again, because they'll just never ever be this pretty.

:)

Okay, I'm lurking. You don't even know me... but I live on the Sammamish plateau and I'm OBSESSED with the field with the yellow flowers. Whereabouts!?
