It's an entertaining day.
Today at church, just as the sacrament prayer is starting:
Me: Carson time for prayer, fold your arms and close your eyes...
Carson follows directions. A few seconds pass...
Carson (yelling): Mom wake up!! Mommy wake up!! MOM!! WAKE UP!!!

Meet Carsons "daddy". He made it in nursery today.
Not sure if they learned about daddies in Nursery today, or if he just thought it looked like his daddy, but he sure did love it. Took it to bed with him and everything.
We never really can get to the bottom of what Carson actually learned in Nursery because every time we say "what did you learn in nursery today car?" this is always his response: "ummm, Jesus cwyst". Hmmm. Ok then. I used to ask him if he learned about Jesus, so I guess that is what he has decided the answer to that question is. Not sure where he picked up the Christ part of it though...
And now you know why I love candid shots so much. It's because when I attempt anything posed ("Carson, smile and show me your daddy"), I get a picture like above... Oh, and below.

We met cousin Olivia tonight for the first time. She is six weeks old. What a sweetie.
We attempted a cousins picture but unfortunately we were posed on the "what not to do in a picture" side of the picture. That livi is an old pro at picture taking it looks like, and well Andrea always looks great. As for the rest of us slouches, we need some help...

Is Carson holding his daddy while wearing his mommy's shoes? He's so cute. I'm sure you really thought so while he was yelling in sacrament meeting. Awesome. :)

Thanks for the compliments. You are sweet. I am not a professional photographer. Too busy chasing the rugrats around. :) I use a canon 5d and I have a 24-70 f/2.8 and an 85mm f/1.2. Hope that helps.

your face and ear are cute in that picture. what are you smokin'? car is so adorable. sacrament with a 2 year old is soooo draining, huh? so funny what he yelled out. that made me giggle.
