Today we went to Costco.
We were walking one of the isles, when Carson started jabbering about some sort of dragon. Huh? Unfortunately I looked back and saw EXACTLY what he was talking about... :)
I suppose the good news is that we won't be having a repeat of the great 2008 fish debacle... I don't know if any of us would have survived that. He seems to have developed a deep love and affection for the costumes this year. Well dragon ones anyway.
He had it just draped on his head in Costco, but once we got home, that was not going to suffice. The only time this thing came off was to go potty, or to eat dinner. It was a fight to keep it away from him at bed time. The only problem is that the size 2-4yr tag is a blaring deception. Nice floods huh? But for 9 bucks I am happy to let him play, and hopefully by Halloween I can ease him into something a little cuter! :)

Yep, he even had to nap in it. He was SO sweaty when I got him up.

Quin likes cars tool box. She relishes any moment that he actually lets her touch it.

On a different note...
G and I had our five year anniversary (and g's birthday) on Labor day. We didn't do much celebrating on the actual day, but are heading out of town this weekend for a little romance in Vancouver. (First time going kidless ever! Wahoo! Well except for when I had Quin..)
Anyway, so this week I have dubbed our anniversary week. Tonight I made Crab to celebrate.
We usually go with the king crab legs, but Carson is obsessed with these little dungeness crabs every time we go to Costco, so I thought I would try them out for a change. I'm not going to lie, they sorta freak me out a little...

We had a hard time prying them away from cars poking fingers, but once we did, we enjoyed them. A lot of work for not much meat, but still good. Carson wasn't really into eating them, (surprising since he loved the king crab we had a few weeks ago) he just liked opening and closing all the legs and claws. Yuck.
Pure bliss

Loving the dragon outfit!!! Can't wait to see him in it. Happy anniversary to you two! Have a fantastic time on your kid-free weekend. Let's plan an "outing" with the kiddos next week when you're back :).
I think the dragon costume is perfect! He obviously loves it. Great photos once again. And happy 5 years!
Its quite scary to come home from work and have a dragon chase you around the house for 10 minutes....
Erin-
Go and get him Pete's dragon to watch!
