Daddy was gone hunting all weekend, which meant that it was just me and the kiddos.
Since every other person I know in Washington was also out of town, it was really just me and the kiddos.

We tried to stay busy during non conference hours. Since it was rainy and cold, that meant hitting the malls. The tug boat is always a fave, as well as jamba juice.

We also went to the outlets and I let them ride all the fun rides. Quin refuses to sit out. I tried that at first, but she kept screaming and reaching for the ride. Not only did she want to ride, she had to drive.

I have never really been a fan of Polaroids, just a little too popular for my taste I guess, but I have to say that I am loving the application on my phone. It just makes phone pictures a little cuter. And I can't argue with that.

To celebrate daddies arrival home, we went to the park to enjoy the evening air. Did I mention that its definitely fall?! We had to bundle.

It's good to have daddy back.

Conference was really good. The kids and I made big breakfasts on Saturday and Sunday, and spent the mornings in our jammies, playing toys, and listening to the uplifting messages being shared. I think I saw more than I have in a long time. I loved Elder Hollands talk. He has such conviction, and it was great to hear such a strong testimony of the Book of Mormon. I too can say that I know this book is true, and am so grateful for that knowledge, and for the peace it brings into my life.

I know when my hubby is away I always am reminded of just how much I love and appreciate him! It sure helps having an extra pair of hands!

Blessings!
