This post is mostly for my mom.
Remember how I took family pictures for her Christmas cards and made a movie out of it? (to show her how horribly it went) Well, she didn't like those pictures, because we were too far apart, and it wouldn't fit on her card. Soooo, she kindly asked us to do it again. We were sooo happy to oblige. :)
We took round two at night, after seeing santa at the mall (because we were all dressed in the outfits she wanted), in our family room, which has no lights. The kids were spent, Greg was unshaven, and did I mention the no lights thing (no lights=blurriness and crazy shadows)? I really wish I had the mark ii. I could have used a higher ISO that night. :)
Please partake of the loveliness of the event:
(not only were the colors totally crazy and off to begin with (I wasn't about to edit all these pictures just for the video, and I don't know how to do batch edits) but when I uploaded them to the video, it messed with them even more.)
Did you notice the whole section of blurry pics? Ya. Great.
This was THE BEST that we got in our little 5 minute endeavor. (meaning we were all looking sort of normal, well except Carson I guess) Of course it's the one where Quin has 5 inches of drool dripping from her mouth, and her dress is flipped up...

Good thing the drool was easy to fix in photoshop. That's a little better...

Sadly, this is how we will be remembered for 2009. If you are on my moms christmas card list, I'm truly sorry! :) I would say that I would send you one of ours to redeem ourselves, but ours really aren't much better! haha...

LOVE IT! I'm dying laughing. The chipmunks music that goes with the crazy video - so hilarious! I'm glad to see its not just me who is crazy enough to attempt to take our own family photos. Ours came out about the same, btw. We're doing take-2 tomorrow.
