.VEGAS.

This trip was seriously the best thing ever. Even though I missed my chicks at home (it was the longest I had ever been away from them), it was super relaxing, and SO fun to spend time with just the hubby.

We left Thursday afternoon and got to the Bellagio around 10. We once again totally lucked out on the view we had... So pretty. (We made reservations, but when we got to the hotel, they tried to tell us that there were no non smoking king rooms left. We were about to leave when poof! suddenly one appeared. We think they didn't want to give it to us because it had one of the best views...)

We were totally nerdy and spent a lot of time walking through the hotels and taking pictures of ourselves. Especially in mirrors. Those are cool.

Disregard the prego stomach. I'm not really with child...

The Wynn was so pretty.. That and the venetian are my favorite.

This troll was at our hotel, I wanted to show it to Carson so I took a picture and told Greg to look scared. Very scary obviously. When I showed Carson, he couldn't tell what it was. But when I told him it was a troll he yelled "I wanna see it!"

Self portrait in front of our hotel... Wahoo.

This was across the street.

The Bellagio has beautiful Chihuly glass all around the lobby and casino. So gorgeous...

I saw these windows and totally made Greg strike a pose. haha. I figured we each had to have a model picture, so this is me trying to be seductive... lol

This may be my favorite picture of the trip... Love Greg in it. And that gelato was yummy too.

I asked some girl to take this picture and she offered to wait till the finale (like 5 min away), to take one when the fountains were shooting really high... Umm no?

Again with the mirrors. We were feeling hot.

We seriously shopped and ate until we dropped. We also spent every morning by the pool. I read hunger games and am totally hooked...

Tao was our favorite restaurant, SOOO good. Well besides the bellagio breakfast buffet of course. I'm totally ghetto like that.. :) We also enjoyed lobster at smith and wollenskys and pasta at a place called olives.

***

I missed the kids so much that I almost made Greg leave on Sunday instead of Monday.

I was SO happy to see them, and luckily they had only just barely started calling aunt Tracie mom. lol We got to my brothers house to pick them up and they were so excited to see us. Carson kept saying "thank you for coming home you guys!" Quin looked a little confused for a second, but then came running, and hasn't let go since. I think she is a little nervous we might leave again. Although both kids have told me today that they want to go back to Tracies and have her be their mommy. lol

My sister in law Tracie is an amazing photographer who kept her blog up to date the whole time. So luckily I didn't have to wonder what they were doing too much!

This is my darling niece izzy who was SO excited to have my kids stay. Don't they look like sisters?

Carson commandeered his cousins remote control car.
(He also apparently tried to steal his other cousins binoculars on Sunday too, by zipping them into his pjs. Tracie told me that he was getting into the car when he showed her a big lump in the leg of his jammies. She unzipped them and there were oaks binoculars. Little stinker.)

Jumping on the tramp...

This was my favorite picture of all.
So Quin.
My brother Bryon got her a snack and decided the bib was the best way to hold the chips. Good thinking...

Just munching away...

Some other funny stories I heard from when we were gone:

1. Carson said to my sister "my belly hurts, because I forgot to eat my vegetables" haha. I totally have him brainwashed I guess..

2. The first night, Carson came into Tracies room at 2 am and said "I'm done sleeping!" Tracie asked him if he wanted to sleep with her. He said yes and laid by her stiff as a board. He finally rolled away from her, but quickly turned back and said "whos that?!" Tracie told him it was his uncle Bryon. Apparently that scared him because when Tracie asked him if he wanted to go back into his own bed, he quickly said yes.

3. The last morning they were there, Quin called out to Tracie "look at me, mom!" Carson quickly looked at Tracie and said "are you my mom?" Tracie told him no, and Carson said "your just pretending to be my mom."

They had so much fun swimming, playing, eating, and hanging out at the cousins. Thanks for having them guys!! They miss you, and keep talking about you.
