One time we had a fish.

The kids named him Fishy Perry.

One day, I decided to be a good mommy and clean dear Fishy Perry's water. I had done it before and was sure I could do it again.

BOY. WAS I WRONG.

Before I even knew what had happened, poor fishy perry had slipped right between the tiny crack between my hand and the bowl, and he was lost to the disposal forever!

GROSS!

I didn't know what to do, so I just let the water run for a while. I didn't want to dispose of him, if you know what I mean!

Pretty sure he made it safely through, and is now somewhere down in Utah Lake... Right?!

I don't know how they knew what had happened, but the kids immediately started asking for fishy perry, and I had to bear the unfortunate news...

Here's to the good 'ole days (the last 4 days)... lol

This is just random from the other day.

The kids were eating banana chips and were laughing hysterically.

This was the hype...

They each had chip between EVERY ONE of their toes.. DELICIOUS!

That is so gross, I really hope the fishy swam down the drain. Haha.
We really should set up a play date with our kids sometime. :)

haha, chad did that to our fish when the older kids were little. but, i think he did it on purpose because he didn't want to clean the tank anymore...are you sure that isn't what you did? haha...

Who ARE you and what did you do with Erin?? Just kidding, I'm loving that you're posting again!

I had a fish in high school that I adored! Is it wired to adore a fish? Well, Athena, the fish, died and my mom disposed of her, but only a few minutes later I heard her running the disposal and had a melt down because I thought she "Disposed" my fish! Too funny that you actually did! Kind of!

so funny. i love that you capture real moments. i need to be better about that with my still camera. i tend to always grab the video camera for cute moments, but i'm noticing all my photos are so "posed" and i'd love more real life moment shots. anyway.... quin totally has my tongue--long and pointy. atta girl:) i laughed.
