New Years Eve this year was a blast!! G and I had the whole family over to our place, and it was pretty much a mad house. An awesome mad house, but definitely a mad house...
Although there were a few sickys, most of us stayed up late and partied like it was 1999. That is until 12:01 hit, then we promptly picked everything up, and hurried to bed. You should have seen it! Lol. We are such old fogies.
Berkley was the poor sick one (well the sickest...). She layed in my bed and watched shows all night. The rest of the kids took turns cuddling up with her too. Quin was especially fond of cuddling with Berk.
(please don't judge the bare and un-decorated house. lol. I know I have lived here a long time now, but it is a HUGE project, and one that probably won't be finished any time soon.)
I got everyone crowns to wear, and blowers to blow, and lots of confetti sticks for the big count down.
This is all the kiddos as we were getting ready for midnight. Mine were already in bed. They crashed around 10:30 or 11.

The confetti was seriously so awesome. My favorite part by far...
That was until I realized you couldn't vacuum it up! lol. I was stewing about what to do, so G and I got down on our hands and knees and started picking it up, when I looked up, everyone was on their hands and knees, and about 3 minutes later, there was no more confetti on the ground. Funniest thing ever. I still find confetti in that room weekly, but it was well worth it... Can't wait to do it again next year.
Pretty much the best thing about Utah is the family parties. They are so much fun. We got to have everyone over for the super bowl a few weeks ago, and that was a fabulous time as well. Unfortunately I didn't take any pictures of that one... But family is the best. Don't know how I survived for 8 years being so far away from them...
On another note, we went to see "I am number 4" tonight with friends. Holy crap that movie is awesome. Has a hot guy in it to. Probably would have liked twilight a whole lot better had he been edward! lol
