A really long time ago I used to be a good blogger. Those were the days! Then I moved, had a new house to deal with (decorate, organize, make my home), got called into the young woman's presidency, started trying to exercise more, had the holidays, made it a goal to get my food storage and preparedness things in order, started to try and catch up on photo books, had two kids and a husband to take care of (ok, that's not new, but still a huge chunk of my time), etc etc... I know, I know, I'm sure all of you are just as busy, if not more. But I like to try and make myself feel validated! haha :)

Anyway, I decided it was time to try and start writing things down again. The kids are too cute, and do the funniest things, that I just need to keep track of it all. We will see how it goes.

The other day while I was cleaning, the kids found their swimsuits. They had to put them on, and pranced around in them the rest of the day. I used to be one of those moms who swore they would never have ugly Disney (substitute any less than attractive children's obsessions here) etc things around their house... But I just can't resist how happy it makes them. Enter the princess swimsuit. And Quincey couldn't be more proud. Makes me happy. At least I found a semi cute one. She immediately accessorized with her pink peep toes. Such a girl. (We are constantly role playing with this girl. She walks around calling everyone Ariel, or Eric, or the Disney favorite of the week, and has a blast pretending to be in the movie. Its so funny to listen to.) Who knows what Carson is doing. Cheesing it up for the camera I guess..

After finding the suits we obviously had to take a trip to the pool. There is an awesome indoor one close to our place that has TONS of cool stuff for kids. It was one of the coldest days of the year, so it was nice to have a tiny taste of summer. I only snapped two pictures because we were so busy having fun. Carson is still great at swimming, and still obsessed with wearing his scuba gear...

See, if I just do a few short posts in the days to come, I can surely get caught up right? Does anyone even still read this thing?! haha

Hope you are all doing well!

Love, Erin

Well, of course I smile when you pop up on my google reader ;) Always fun to see your cute family and great photos...but don't feel bad about just living and enjoying life and just BEING with your family and all you have going on - there are many (I hate to say me included, but it is occasionally true) who should step away from the dang computer more often to enjoy the life they have rather than get sucked into the soap opera of following other people's lives via blogger;)

So glad to see you are up to good - doing good things and having good fun!

Oh - and I am starting to see now what you said to me a while back about things getting easier with my kids' ages. They are becoming best buddies and I am loving seeing their relationship develop and seeing them off together playing so I can perhaps, someday, get something done around the house ;) Thanks for the head's up!

Is that the Lehi pool? I haven't been there this winter yet... Good idea, I think I need to take the kids there next week! I have been blogging less too lately, life gets busy and lately I have been trying to enjoy the moments not have a camera plastered to my face so I can blog about it later! =)
