Saturday was a lovely day.

The fall weather is beautiful, and we are loving taking FULL advantage.

We ventured up the canyon on our bikes, which was kind of uncomfortable for this 8.5 month prego, but the colors were so beautiful. It was well worth it.

SMILE!!!

That night the kids were begging to carve pumpkins.

Every year they freak out that we are going to make them eat the insides. Why? Who knows. Carson kept saying "let me see them, but DON'T let me eat them!"

I drew a simple classic pumpkin face for Carson to carve. He did it mostly himself.

"Want the seed Quin?"

"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"

Greg went all above and beyond and did an ariel pumpkin for Quin. When Carson saw it, he told me he didn't like his anymore. He only liked Quins. What can I say, I'm not that great with the pumpkin faces. My fifth grade creations have stayed with me.

I didn't tell them to sit like this, Quin was just feeling the love I guess. :)
