Well this little Turkey had himself a nice big treat today. Check out those chipmunk cheeks, and happy eyes. It can't get better than that.
The Story: Today I decided to be very domestic and make my hubby a nice batch of homemade freezer jam. All was going well, I was cutting the strawberries and Car was busily yanking things off of every shelf in sight. This is a pretty typical scene over here at our house. After a few bangs and excited yelps, I decided I ought to turn around and peek at my little monster and make sure he wasn't doing anything too bad. I turned around to the happiest little bugger you could imagine. Somehow while trying to free his favorite pole toy (the swifer), he knocked the mop handle over which must have knocked the chips off of the third shelf in the pantry. They landed perfectly in front of him, and Car wasted no time getting his little paws into that bag of salt and peppery goodness. He thought they were so good that when I would inch toward him at all, he would take off running around the kitchen to escape me from taking his delicious new treat. I guess I have deprived him, other than the cupcake on his first birthday, its pretty much been fruits and veggies and whole wheat bread. Although I can't really say what goes on when I am not around...hmmm.
