Wow. Its been a busy week to say the least. I have gotten this crazy desire to do all these crazy things around the house. Painting...planting flowers...the list goes on. It's good to slowly get things done, but I am one tired momma. AND, I haven't even finished most of the projects. Oops!
This weekend, Greg went hunting wild pigs with his daddy and bros, so Car and I were left to fend for ourselves. We went to a Mariners Game with Greg's mom, made Daddy a special fathers day present, and just basically played around. It was really fun. For fathers day, I got some paint and made Greg a framed picture of Cars hand prints. It turned out really cute, but it was a HUGE mess. Good thing that water based paint comes off, or else my boy would have been a smurf for life! Not good, I tell you, not good...
And for the PICTURES. We all know I can't post without adding some pictures!
The other day I was sitting at my computer and I realized that it was quite quiet. I yelled for Car, and just then he come toddeling around the corner from the bathroom, trailing the toilet paper roll along with him. As he walked his pants fell down around his knees. I must not have pulled them up high enough. He was so excited about his toilet paper treasure.
Then, a few days later, or before, can't remember now, I gave him a little piece of toilet paper to play with. I was a bit shocked at what he did with it. Watch the video below:
Yes, that's right, my almost 15 month old already knows what to do with the toilet paper. What the? He obviously spends more time around mommy than daddy. I had no idea that these little buggers were so dang smart! They pick up on EVERYTHING!!! I certainly didn't teach him how to do that...
On another note, Carson LOVES to be outside when Daddy is mowing the lawn. The problem is he always gets in the way. So we decided to strap Car on Greg's back and let him help. He didn't like it one bit! I guess he didn't have a good enough view.
He kept trying to grab me as they would pass by.
And finally my lovely flowers.
I have never planted flowers before, so who knows if I got the right kind...I just picked the ones I thought were pretty. And pretty they were once they were all planted. I noticed though that they have all been eaten in the last few days. We have a tiny bunny in our yard and I think he has been chomping on my hard work! Little bugger! Greg asked me if I wanted him to kill it for me, but he is too cute. Whats a girl to do?!
This is what Carson and Daddy did as I planted flowers. Daddy filled the bucket with weeds and dead stuff, and Carson picked it out of the bucket and threw it on the ground. Hey what ever makes him happy right? At least we weren't rescuing him from the street.
The kid LOVES being outside, and I'm pretty sure he did about as much damage to my flowers as I was planting them as our little bunny friend has done since...
Well, that's the end. Here's to another good week. Hope y'all are having some sunshine to enjoy!
