QUESTION:

If you vacuum up a spider,  does it die,  or does it just crawl right back out after you turn the vacuum off? (think little stairs vacuum, not the big kind)

Because, this is the size of spider I am dealing with here in the great North West, and I refuse to smash even the LITTLE ones....

Picture courteous of Greg, I wasn't going NEAR that thing!

And I'm still pretty sure they are HOBOS.  (kinda kidding, but mostly serious.  Either way = NASTY)

My skin is crawling as I type.

Car still says, eeeew! and points every time we go by the garage stairs (its been a few weeks),  and lots of times makes me carry him.  He liked looking,  but did NOT want to touch!

I was wondering the same thing about vacuums and spiders... My friend down the road had a monster one in her basement and she is scared of them too. Her husband was at work so she called me and I came and got it, with a vacuum.(YUCK)Hopefully they cannot find their way out again! Glad Greg was there to help you!!

i got lance a bug vacuum in texas-more for scorpions...but now it is useful for the plethora of creepy crawlies here!
i wish g was scared of them-the last one lance killed-graham picked up and ate it! it was a big one and looked exactly like that giant in the picture! i freaked out and called poison control...
i have been killing them now as I had a creepy train of thought that after I released them out on the back fence they were just crawling back into my house...

Allegra- Luckily they don't have BR here. Or any other poisonous ones besides maybe the Hobo, supposidley. (how do you spell that?) Just huge monster ones. Gross Gross Gross.

Name- Thats funny because I totally had my neighbor come kill one last year when greg was out of town. She captured it though and let it loose. Not smart. I didn't mean to have her come kill it, I just called and asked if she had any bug spray, but she came over and did it for me. I'm so dumb. I HATE them!

Ali- I need a bug vacuum! But only if it is big enough to keep me far away from the bug. I don't want em jumping on me!! I can't believe Graham ate that yucky thing! What did poison control say?! :) You better not let them loose, they will FOR SURE come back in!!!

Hey Erin! This is Denny and Leslie's daughter-in-law, Melissa. Stumbled on your blog through Jessica Kettle's! We just found those spiders in our new house! I'm too scared to touch the sink stopper it was sitting on! Makes cleaning a little difficult :) Good luck with 'em!

p.s. Where do you find all of Quincey's little headbands? They are just about as cute as she is!
