This weekend Greg went hunting with his dad and brothers. So, I took the opportunity to have my friend Kristy come and keep me company at home! Kristy and I were roommates back in the day when we lived in New York. She has a little bugger Ayden, who is 5 months older than Carson. It was perfect because the little guys kept each other company while Kristy and I caught up and dragged them around town.
We actually were pretty lazy and stayed mostly close to home, Kristy is prego and I have Quin, so between the two of us we weren't up for any HUGE adventures. Just the little kind for us.
Kristy enjoyed scrap booking my pictures for me. Yeah, I don't ever do it, so she took the liberty of actually using all of my stuff. Thanks K, I'm just not too into it these days... what with the photography obsession taking all of time.
Ayden woke up every morning, and nap time, with this Killer bed head. So awesome. Too bad Carson doesn't have any hair. I don't really deal with this issue.
On Friday we braved the rain and headed into Seattle. We went to Pikes place and to lunch. These are the only pictures I took. Looking out the windows to the Puget sound.
Car was attached to these cars ALL week. He wouldn't let them out of his sight. He likes driving them all over everything. Zhoom!!!!!!!
Car and Ayden were hilarious to watch. They played pretty good, but Car decided that he was terrified of Ayden after taking a bath with him and having water dumped on his head the entire time. Too funny. Ayden is at the age were every toy that anyone else has is the one he needs. So when Ayden came near Car, Car would come running for me and grab my legs and hide his toy as best as he could. Or sometimes he would realize that he wasn't going to win the fight so he would just kind of stand back and hand the toy to Ayden and say "dank you". Boy I can't wait until Car hits that age. What fun! Car was not with out fault himself. He enjoyed poking and bugging Ayden as much as possible in the Car whenever we went anywhere. (we squished 3 car seats next to each other.) Little stinkers!
The boys loved running around in their jammies, playing with toys, and watching cartoons.
Car sporting the lovely fire hat and mariners hands...transfixed with "dogs" (101 Dalmatians) as usual.
Choo Choo's kept the boys busy for hours and hours. Ayden knew just how to do it.
The boys would giggle and giggle when they played with this ball machine. It was so funny. The balls shoot out the top and hit them in the face.
Kristy and I spent like an hour one day trying to take a cute picture of us. Most of them turned out like this.
And yes, she licked my face. GROSS.
Quincey decided that she likes to sleep on her tummy. Very cute.
And last but not least, I cut my hair. I think it may have been a big mistake. It looks cute here, but that's because I picked a cute picture. hmm.... Good thing hair grows.
Greg had some adventures himself this weekend. He did get a deer, which means meat for the next year, Hooray! But he gashed his head open doing it. He also got hit by a deer while driving home. Glad you made it back in one piece mister! We missed you.
Thanks for the fun Kristy! Hope you can come back soon!
