Remember that fiasco I went through a few weeks ago called potty training? Yeah it sucked. Well, my smarty pants hubby one upped me and came up with a great solution.
Two Words: Hot Wheels.
I scoffed at first. After all, the treats didn't work, why would anything else, right? Wrong. Dead wrong. I scoff no more.
Now don't get too excited. The kid is still wearing diapers. But we are making progress. At first it was small, just even getting him to do it on the toilet was a task. But nothing that a little warm water couldn't fix. Now he has gotten the hang of things and can pretty much squeeze something out anytime we ask him if he wants a new car. It's all about the car.
I suppose it is weird that I am typing this all on the web. But it's the only way I will remember it. Try as I might, I just don't find time to write in an actual journal...
Quincey has turned into a total home wrecker. Everywhere I turn, I see MESS. The magazines are a particular fave.
She is also now exploring the world of climbing. Oh good.
Do you like all my cheesy sayings typed on my pictures? Yeah. They make me laugh.

I love your bribery picture. I'd do just about anything for a brightly colored car too!
Your pictures are gorgeous, and I love that Hot Wheels was the key to potty training. It seems so obvious now that I think about it :)

carson's excited face is adorable. my mil told me she used to bribe my husband to practice the piano with micro machines. :) worked like a charm.
I'd like to compare Jane's eyes to Carson's. They're freakishly large! in the cutest way, of course.
