My sister and I took our kids for a last minute adventure at the bean museum. Man that place is old. And dusty. Took me right back to elementary school. Little has changed.
Don't they look like an excited bunch?
Car loved the bears. So much that when I told him to smile, this is what he did....? Classic.
He loved everything really. And I liked the dik-dik's. It is one of my most treasured childhood memories of the bean museum. Our elementary brains thought it was real funny that his name was made up of cuss words (gasp), and even funnier when we would point it out a gazillion times to our friends.
Fun times. Thanks for going guys. We miss you mucho!
Another day Kristy and I ventured out in the heat and went to the zoo. It was actually not too hot. And very much fun. The kids seemed to be more enamoured by the waterfalls than any of the animals. Aiden pointed out every single one that we passed.
We let them ride the carousel, and aiden insisted on riding the peacock while Kristy stood by car behind him. Aiden didn't move a muscle the entire time. So funny. When I showed Carson this picture he said "ride the scary buffalo!" Obviously made an impression.
I love the giraffes and they were so close to us. I don't have a telephoto lens, so that should give you an idea. I guess we are just kindred spirits or something. Both real tall and real skinny. Don't they have pretty, girly eye lashes?
The bears put on a show too. Fighting like crazy.
Carson got this snake in the gift shop (snakes were his favorite toy on this vacation to Utah), and didn't put it down the whole time. He liked scaring me with it.
Quin was just happy to sit and eat. Thanks Melissa for the idea of these snack things. My kids LOVE them.
More to come. Over.

Looks like fun. I am sad we never got together while you were here. Thanks for the nice comment. Photoshop is hard. Any hints would be helpful. Luv ya Tracie
As always your pictures are amazing! Do you use photoshop? What kind of camera and lens do you use? You are so talented! :)
Matt LOVES that 'scary' picture of Carson!
