The other day I went to Costco with the kids and had to kill some time while waiting for Daddy to show up. We went straight to the toy isle of course.

They had these awesome gorilla things that walked around and made noise. I put one on the ground to show the kids, but they did not share my same enthusiasm. That tiny gorilla turned a perfectly peaceful horsey ride:

into an event of sheer terror. You can't really see Quins face, but it looks just like Carsons. Pretty funny stuff.

Today when we went to Costco (while sporting the buzz lightyear costume. STILL?), Carson said "lets go see the toy kitchen mommy, and the doll house, NOT the gorillas mommy." It took some will power to resist.

Here's the video of Carson de buzzing. This is what he does with all his costumes. I'm so glad he assures us that it's just him. A mommy can get confused! :)

What a face! Great capture! You just never know what will startle them. For my son, it was the remote-controlled dinosaurs at Pottery Barn Kids. He *still* remembers the horror of it all :)
