Sometimes you just need a good old fashion rocket sandwich...

Unfortunately, sometimes the green bean aliens get in your way before you can get to it...

The other day Car requested a rocket sandwich.

I obliged

ME: "you ready for you rocket sandwich car?" holding up a fabulous little rocket sandwich before his eyes.

He was really excited when he saw it.

Me: "OK, you have to eat these green beans before you can have your sandwich."

He obviously wasn't thrilled about the idea. Though we still try to eat well at our house, sometimes it is a chore to get a variety of veggies into these small kids. Car especially hates beans and potatoes. So, I have to force it on them before they get what they want...

This particular day it took about a half an hour to get him to down the suckers. Hence the photos. I got bored...
I even had to eat the original rocket sandwich myself. Since he wouldn't stick the green lovelies in his darn mouth. But don't worry, that got the results. :)

Can't believe I have him smiling in this picture, it was mostly gags...

Victory! Rocket sandwich.

Aren't I a mean mommy?! :) Hopefully my kids will thank me for it one day... Or maybe they will just go hog wild and eat a bunch of sugar and junk instead... :)

ha ha, hilarious progression of events! Way to eat those greens, carson! (p.s. I still gag on the things my dad forced on me: milk and fish :) Oh yeah, and I love the new banner!

You are getting very creative with the movies! Do you produce w/iMovie or something else? Priceless expressions on Carson (as usual)!

What a great idea! I love the rocket. And it's all about cruel to be kind, I say, so bring on the green beans and the power struggles! ;)

Oh, and HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Apparently I dropped off the blogging map and missed that post, glad it was so great!

Ok, and I can't get enough of the sleeping bag footage, so fun! I'll have to store that away for a rainy day.

Lastly - I love your decorating movie, it looks so cozy and fun. I can't wait to have a HOME! =)
