Wow guys, your making this hard for me to say goodbye!! I have gotten SO many nice comments and emails. Many that made me laugh because of funny words like inspirational. That word, and the likes of ME, do NOT go in the same sentence!! Guess that shows how blogs are a distorted view! haha :) Just ask my family and friends...

I'm sure I will get back to blogging at some point. Probably sooner rather than later, if I'm being honest... (Though I hate to admit that!) I am already constantly thinking about documenting my kids lives... and this is where I DO that. I suck at journal writing after all! But I think that THAT, is the main reason for me wanting to go private. My blog gives every detail of my kids lives. It makes me feel a little better knowing who reads. I don't mind at all if I don't KNOW you, as long as I know you are reading.... make sense? And thanks for all of you who I don't know, who have come out and said Hello. It is great to know who is out there!! Nice to "meet" you! :)

Anyway,

I will leave you with one last story, since it is a nice and embarrassing one...

So the other day I was at the store with my mom, Greg, and the kids... Greg had the kids off at the kids play place across the way (I could see them), and my mom was standing with me. We were talking to a sales woman at the counter. I decided that I needed to go and get something from the shelf, so I quickly turned and started to walk away... Well, I didn't get too far. Apparently there was a crate directly behind me on the floor, which I had managed not to notice when I walked up (in my defense, my mom didn't notice it either, so we aren't sure it was there when we walked up...). I took one step, got my foot caught under the crate, and then took a long, hard, crash, face first, onto a box of tiles or something, and then the hard cement floor.. It was a little sureal. As I lay there spread eagle on the hard crate, and floor, I tried to focus, and slowly the sounds of a few things became clear:

1. the sound of my mom laughing, and then quickly asking me if I was ok
2. the entire store gasping
3. The other sales people yelling "what was that?!" Followed by running in my direction

I hurriedly tried to get myself up before anyone could see me. My arm wasn't working very well, and I was in a very odd position. Luckily though, I think I managed. The first thing I saw when I stood up, was Greg pointing his phone in my direction, quickly snapping pictures. :) Thanks hun! Unfortunately he didn't catch me on the ground, so I have nothing to show you there...

I tried to manage a smile and talk to the sales girl like I was ok, but my arm was throbbing, and I was trying to hold back a few tears... We left soon after that, and I quickly realized that I didn't have full use of my arm. Pick up the kids? forget it. The day was a little slow, since I couldn't manage to do much for myself.. That night I started to get really frustrated when I had to have Greg put my hair in a pony tail for me, and it took him 5 tries. Boys don't know how to do those kinds of things I guess... and I started to really wonder if my arm might be broken (and what I would do if it was), when I had to have Greg help me out of, and in to, all of my clothes. LUCKILY, the next morning, I could move it ever so slightly more than I could the day before. I was on the mend! :)

It has been almost a week since "the incident", and my arm is still a bit sore. I can fully move it again, but still can't use my hand for a lot of things. (don't look at my hair, I can't brush it very well)

I noticed yesterday, that I have a beautifully large bruise on my elbow, and thought I had better show it off, since I have never, and hopefully will never again, have one this size.

TA-DA!

Oh, and here is a funny video that I had to post. Check out her moves!!

This girl gets into it. I think the end is the very best part. Love the hand pumps!! :)

Love, Erin

Oh, man. I have been busy and haven't blog-hopped much lately...and missed your big announcement. I totally understand the need for privacy and also the need to "rest" from blogging for a while...

...but...I do love following the adventures of your cute, cute family...so if you have any room left to add anyone to your list, I'd love to be added (if not, that's okay, too - no worries)

:) cheers!

Ouch, that looks (and sounds!) like it hurt!

Glad you might be blogging more though. Love your photos. Did you get bangs? They look fabulous!
