Ok People.

I owe you an apology.

I'm sorry I cried wolf about quitting blogging.
Greg told me not to do it unless I was SURE about it. And I was.

But then stuff started happening.... The kids started doing cute stuff.. And then I started to want to post about it... You get my drift?

I really DO want to slow down on the whole blogging thing, but, I want to record stuff too.
Basically I am just a decision making mess. I'm sorry. My poor husband deals with it all the time, and now you have to too.

Thanks again for all your nice comments. They sorta made my day. And made me laugh....

Anyway, the reason for this post is.... Dun, du, dun! Are you ready for this?

I think Carson is FINALLY potty trained!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He told me ALL day today that he had to go potty, and he did it every time. No accidents.

We were in Utah last week, and a few wisely spent dollars did the trick I think. I sorta bribed my nieces and nephews to go potty in front of Carson. The last day we were there, he started telling me he had to go, and it has slowly continued from there. HOOORAY!

I bought him some buzz and woody underwear when we were in Utah. Only problem is, he refuses to wear it properly. It makes him really angry when buzz is in the back, so we have to make some accommodations.

Happens every time.

Quin likes the unders too. Anything with woody and buzz on it. She likes to steal them and put them on her head. OK, she only did that once. But she does steal them...

Here's a random picture of Quin begging for Cars Buzz costume. She is obsessed with Toys.

And now, since Car is saying the funniest things, I have to write a few of them down.

1. I was telling Carson about getting bigger one day, and asked him if he was going to go on a mission (for our church). He got all excited and said, "in a rocketship?!"

2. He says please before everything now. Today I was telling him to put something away that I didn't want him to playing with and he said "mommy, please get out of here." in the most sincere voice he could muster. (he always tells me to leave when he wants to do something I don't want him to.)

3. He has whole conversations of gibberish with himself, when he is trying to talk about serious stuff.

4. He tells me he is proud of me.

5. He always tells me to say thank you when I tell him he did something good.

me: "good job carson!"
Car: "say thank you mommy."
Me: "thank you Carson"
Car: "oh, your welcome mommy!"

6. Greg and I are always yelling through the house at bed time asking where bunny and blanky are. Well the other day at nap time the same scenario ensued.

Greg: "Wheres Quins Blanky?"
Me: no answer (I didn't hear him)
Carson: Mid yogurt bite, and well enthralled in watching a show. "It's in the piano room Daddy!"
Greg and I: Not sure what to make of what just happened...
Greg: "Is it really in there?" while walking towards the living room "YEP! it is! Thanks Carson!"
Carson: Still mid bite and seeming enthralled in said show "Your welcome daddy!"

It's amazing what they come up with when they "aren't paying attention"

7. Whenever I start to sing, Carson says "please stop mommy, that makes me sick!"

*****

Quin is getting cuter by the second and started saying more words in Utah. She says na night, and poo poo pretty good (lol) and tries to copy lots more.
