Immunizations

I had the kids immunized for the first time a few weeks ago. It was a bit of a shock seeing as neither had ever had a shot before. We told Carson before hand that he could pick out a toy from the toy store if he was really brave. When I asked him what he wanted, he said "a big ole' buzz lightyear!" and shot his fist into the air. He didn't even flinch for the first shot, but when they got to the 2nd (mmr) he started crying and didn't stop. I guess it took a second for him to realize what was going on... The next few days his one arm was all red a swollen. It freaked me out. Luckily I guess that is a normal reaction... Quin pretty much screamed through them all, but she didn't have any pain in her legs after.

Toy Story Obsession

This is how Quincey looks the entire time I get ready in the morning. Glazed over glassy eyes, just for woody. It's the only show that totally holds her interest...





Oh. And this morning when we came down into the kitchen Carson goes "dad? dad? DAD?! Where'd my birthday go dad?"
