Greg, Erin, Car and Quincey

I tried to get some cute Easter pictures of the kids, but of course they were too busy crying (quin) and making Easter bunny ears out of sticks (car)...

I just got off the phone with my mom. I told her that if I die (from a Mexican spider bite), she better check in on my kids and make sure they are ok from time to time. She told me that I had better get someone else because she doesn't think she has enough energy to take care of my kids... lol. Case in point:

It was freezing outside, so we were all shivering...





Easter was fun.

When Car woke up this morning, daddy said "Happy Easter!" Car looked up and excitedly exclaimed "it came?!" Then he tried to run downstairs to see what kind of loot he got.

The kids got baskets, and I hid a few eggs around the family room. They were pretty slow about finding them, but thought it was fun none the less.

I put jelly beans in the eggs, and during conference, we emptied them all out and put them in bags for the kids. Car carried his bag around all day. He even smuggled it into his bed during nap time. G put him down for his nap, and as we were cleaning things up to watch conference, I realized that his treats were missing. G swore he didn't have them upstairs, but sure enough when we went up to check, he was in his bed, happily chowing down. The following conversation ensued:

Daddy: "Carson, are you eating treats?"
Car: "I ate just one" (holding up one finger)
Daddy: "We need to take these down stairs Carson, they aren't supposed to be out of the kitchen"
Carson: "no guys, please!? Guys, please I can have them up here?"
Greg: "na-night Car, love you" (we walk out of the room)
Carson: "Guys? Please guys? .....Guys....?!"

We were wondering why he had laid down for naps so easily! Sneaky little bugger! :)
