Well Halloween 2010 was totally radical.

I have been looking forward to it for years, because my WHOLE family always gets together for trick or treating, and treats. We were always the only ones who lived far away, so we were the only ones missing out on it every year.

Finally we got to take part! And it DID NOT disappoint.

I talked G into "dressing up" as superman. Carson thought it was pretty amazing. And so did I! haha

I went with snow white, so Quincey would have a princess buddy. The whole night she followed me around saying "snow white, wait for me!", "Snow White, I want you", "Snow White, I'm hungry.", etc. etc.

Here we are in all our glory
(quin wore the wig for about 2.6 seconds, but doesn't she look hilarious?)

After we had dinner, I heard commotion in the other room. When I looked, this is what I saw....

Apparently the bearded dragon had come out of its cage, and quin was NOT happy about it. Total death grip.

Car loved it though.

The whole night night it was torrential down fall, so finally after waiting and waiting for it to stop, we all bundled up and headed out in it. (totally my luck that it would rain, after saying how it never rains in utah, only in seattle!) We made it to one house when Carson said "mom, I'm very much cold." so we went back to the house and the warmth. We were soaked to the bone.

The kiddos were elated with their few treats.
(notice quins foot half shoved into her boot. Those used to be able to fit over her jammies. Not anymore! poor girl had no shoes for the night)

After about a half hour, the rain had stopped, and we were able to have a fabulous night of trick or treating...

Carson and his favorite cousin zak were both dressed as batman, and they ran around the WHOLE night holding hands... So funny.

The best was when they somehow got tangled in each others arms, and were both pulling a different direction and about to fall over. They couldn't figure out how to get out of that mess. Finally my brother (zaks dad) was like "maybe you should let go of his hand for a second dude." They were amazed when they let go that they were able to walk again. They gained their composure, and quickly grabbed each others hands again.

Sadie was so wet from trick or treating attempt one, that she didn't even wear her costume the second time around.

Carson wasn't very polite when he went to the door. I would overhear him saying "give me some candy." I kept telling him to be polite and only take one, but it never seemed to stick. It was no surprise when we got back to the house that he had twice as much candy as everyone else. He never went to a house without grabbing a fist full. Little bugger. Guess we have to work on that one for next year.

Blissful batmen...

Quin had to be carried the whole time due to her little shoes fiasco... Smart mommy.

Full buckets and happy kids....

Such a fun night! Thanks bryon and trace for having us out!
