We have had a long fun summer of swimming.
Scratch that, it has gone WAY to fast. Seriously, I can't believe school has started and its almost September. I think the summer went even faster than normal because I was sick for most of it. But we still had fun.

Both kids can swim. Carson can swim everywhere by himself, but Quin is still learning how to come up for air. If she has her snorkel on though, she can go anywhere too. We swam pretty much every day this summer. I guess it paid off.

Carson has super sensitive eyes and has always insisted on a mask and snorkel. I guess Quin just thinks that how its done now. So she follows suit.

Carson even learned to swim to the bottom of the deep end by himself. He thinks its pretty cool.

Prego belly... 6 months.

Quin got sort of sick of swimming towards the end of the year, and took more of an interest in "lipstick". She likes to steal it out of the swimming bag and hide under the chair to apply.

Best goggle face ever.

This summer we learned that Quincey is an OCD freak. Half the time at the pool she would walk around straightening everyone's shoes and putting their toys and towels away (while they were trying to play with them), instead of swimming. And she had to have everyone's bags in certain places, and hers zipped up at all times. Don't know quite where she got it from, but ok. It happens at home now too. Every shoe has to be put in the correct place, clothes have to be hung, books have to be stacked just so. It often makes us late because she can't leave things (toys) out or it bugs her.

May I ask if you used an underwater case or a different camera for the water pics? I'm thinking about buying a water bag for upcoming snorkeling pics and wondered if you have any suggestions?
