Today was the kids first day of preschool.
I wasn't going to send them to preschool, but when I got pregnant, I started thinking more about it. My kids are super active and crazy and I thought that if I didn't send them at least one year, that they might not survive kindergarten (sitting still wise)... SO, I decided to sign Carson up. As the summer months passed I started having second thoughts about it and wishing I could back out, but my best friend had enrolled her daughter in Carsons class so I couldn't really bail on her. Last week was meet the teacher day, so we loaded the kids in the car and went to meet Carsons teacher. Quin was so sad that she didn't get to go to Carsons school, so when we got there I asked if there was any room for Quin and there was! Her face lit up and she was SO excited that she got to go too. Every since then, the kids have asked every day how many days left until school. The COULD NOT WAIT.
Well the day finally arrived. They wanted to go right after breakfast but had to wait until after lunch. Then after we all got dressed they ran to the car. I have NEVER seen them get in the car so fast. Carson kept saying "I gotta go to school. Come on guys!"
The day was a success. Both kids LOVED every second, and I have to say that it was really nice running errands without any kids in tow. Plus when the baby arrives in a few months I will get some nice quiet one on one time with him. Can't beat it. All in all I am glad they are going. Just because it makes them SO happy. They can't wait until thursday when they get to go again.
I guess I really am old now. Almost three kids, and two in school...
Quin didn't have her bag yet because we signed her up last week.
And the belly...
I took two pics because you couldn't see it very well in the dress. Much bigger than the last two times it seems...

Random kids stuff:
Carson loves to pray and says the LONGEST prayers. He always has to bless his cousins, and "bless everything in the world", he also likes blessing whatever he sees around the room, and the men in the trucks, whoever they are. The other night though, he said "and don't ever bless the spiders"... He even said it twice to make sure.

haha carsons my kinda man, dont bless those spiders! im jealous of how far along you are. i still have a long way to go! i hate being pregnant. ugh
Such cute pre-schoolers you have there ;)
I went back and forth and back and forth about sending Sawyer to preschool this year (he's just 3) but I really "felt" like I should and after considering that it was my selfishness that wanted to keep him to myself - that he was STOKED about spending a couple of hours a couple of mornings with other kids etc. then I realized that it would be a good thing. We had our visit this morning - and it went awesome (in spite of Aspen wanting to join the class, but she's still too little)! Bonus is some one on one time with the girly - something we've never had.
It will be a special treat for you to have some one-on-one with your new babe! It won't be long and he'll be here! I'm so excited for your cute family!
I love how excited those two are for school! Sounds like exciting times. You're looking cute too, mama!
